Writing the prompt: four rules for this shot
Name the three altitudes explicitly.
Start on the subject, pass through cloud, end with the curve of the earth. That is the layer structure of the manual composite, and it works just as well as prompt structure.
Say the pull-back is continuous with no cuts.
The whole effect is that it never breaks. Without this, models tend to produce a sequence of separate views.
Ask for accelerating speed.
A real earth zoom speeds up as it climbs, because the scale change is exponential. A constant rate looks wrong even if everything else is right.
Describe the clouds as something the camera moves through.
Passing through a cloud layer is the join that makes the ascent read as one continuous move rather than a scale animation.
