How PixVerse pricing works
PixVerse undercuts most of the market: $8 a month on annual billing for 1,200 credits is one of the lowest paid entries in AI video, and the recurring free daily credits are a genuinely usable trial. The economics inside are straightforward, roughly 35 credits per typical clip, resolution tiers gating 1080p behind Pro. The two things the price does not buy: third-party models (PixVerse is its own model family only) and clearly published commercial-use terms, which for anyone monetizing output is the detail that matters most and is hardest to find.
The fine print
- The free tier's 60 daily credits are real but reset daily with no rollover, at 540p with a watermark.
- A typical generation reportedly costs around 35 credits, so Standard's 1,200 credits are roughly 30 clips a month.
- PixVerse runs its own in-house models only: no Veo, Kling, Seedance or Runway.
- Commercial-use terms per tier are not clearly published; check before selling work made there.
Our take
As a cheap single-model playground, PixVerse is excellent, arguably the best free tier in the category. The moment the work is commercial or needs a specific look another model does better, the low price stops being the point: unpublished licensing terms and a single model family are real costs in disguise.
Whatever you pick, remember the rule from our AI video cost calculator: the prompt is free, the retries are not. A detailed prompt stretches any plan further than any tier upgrade.

Frequently asked questions
PixVerse pricing, credits and alternatives
How much does PixVerse cost?+
PixVerse's app plans run Standard at $10/month or $8 on annual billing (1,200 credits), Pro at $30 or $24 (6,000 credits), Premium at $60 or $48 (15,000), and Ultra at $199 or $149 (25,000). The free tier grants about 60 credits per day at 540p with a watermark.
Is PixVerse really free?+
The free tier is real and recurring: roughly 60 credits every day (enough for about one typical clip), plus a small signup grant. The limits are 540p resolution, a watermark, and no rollover, so it works as a daily sketchpad rather than a production tool.
Can I use PixVerse videos commercially?+
PixVerse does not clearly publish per-tier commercial-use terms, which is unusual for the category. If you plan to sell or monetize output, verify the license in their terms of service first, or use a platform that grants commercial rights explicitly at your tier.
What is the best PixVerse alternative?+
If the appeal is price, Studio AI is the nearest multi-model step up: €4.99/month billed annually for Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0, Runway 4.5, Luma, Pika and Grok with explicit commercial licensing included, so the budget stays small but the model list and the license stop being question marks.
